Formerly a self-released artist, Wetzel has been making waves since 2015. He released several notable independent works, including the breakthrough hit Harold Saul High. The 2019 album entered the Top 10 of the Country chart, as well as peaking at number 20 on the Mainstream chart. Since this incredible feat, Wetzel has signed with a major label, Columbia Records, and cleverly named his next album Sellout. But despite signing with a major music imprint, the highly acclaimed performer maintained his distinctively brilliant artistry. This is evident in his commercially successful fifth effort, Hell Paso, which notably spawned six smashing singles, including “Creeps,” “April Showers,” “Cabo,” and more. In addition to releasing chart-performing tracks, the album also peaked at number 3 on the Country chart, becoming Wetzel’s highest-charting effort to date.

This summer, fans will get to experience these amazing hits and more as Wetzel lights up the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. The show includes a list of critically regarded special guests, such as Pecos and the Rooftops and Kolton Moore & the Clever Few. These fantastic country rock performers are also slated to perform their career-spanning works and hype up the crowd before Koe Wetzel hits the stage.
