From "The Hurting" to "The Tipping Point" — Tears For Fears' music has truly gone full circle. Tears For Fears has caught the ears and emotions of Gen-Xers as they sang about teen angst, hurt, and trauma from their debut album "The Hurting", released in 1983. Songs like "Mad World", "Change", "Pale Shelter", and "Suffer The Children" propelled the album to reach number one on the UK Albums Chart. The 'hurting' lyrics of their songs, so to speak, were camouflaged with their genius of integrating them with infectious synth-pop beats that were more pronounced and progressive with the release of succeeding chart-topping, multi-platinum albums such as "Songs From The Big Chair" and "The Seeds of Love".

Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith grew apart at some point, with Orzabal forging on as solo lead for Tears For Fears and releasing "Elemental" (1993) and "Raoul and the Kings of Spain" (1995). After a decade, the Orzabal and Smith lines reconnected once more resulting in the release of their 2004 album "Everybody Loves a Happen Ending"; which became a great new beginning for TFF fans seeing this beloved duo making music in-studio and in the live stage once again.

"The Tipping Point" — Seventeen years in the making. Tears For Fears are at it again! Picking up from where "The Hurting" has left off, the angst-ridden teen fans are now middle-aged survivors who have dealt with adulting pains, stress, and depression, yet living, learning, and healing from the ghosts of the past. Tears For Fears are on point, again with "The Tipping Point", the lead single that talks about loss, grief, and the realization that life is about moving forward with hope.

In 2021, shortly before the release of "The Tipping Point" album, the Ivor Novello Award honored Smith and Orzabal for their 'Outstanding Song Collection' recognizing their "era-defining Tears for Fears albums" and "critically acclaimed, innovative hit singles". With that said, “The Tipping Point Tour Part II” is your chance to witness that on the live concert stage. Now, who would want to miss that?! Hurry, book your tickets now!
