Post Malone, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, is a critically-acclaimed singer-songwriter, rapper, and record producer. Over the course of his career, Post has also dabbled in acting and appeared in a number of films and TV series. In 2015, he dropped his first breakout hit, “White Iverson,” which Post uploaded on his Soundcloud. That same year, Post released the music video for the single, and it received over one million streams in less than a month. The song received praise from renowned rappers Wiz Khalifa and the late Mac Miller. The following year, Post dropped his debut album, Stoney. The record broke into the Billboard 200, peaking at number 4, as well as topping the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The album sold over five million copies in the U.S., earning a five-time platinum certification. Moreover, the massive success of “White Iverson” led to a diamond certification in the U.S. Stoney spawned several more hits, including “Congratulations,” “Go Flex,” and “Deja Vu.”

In 2017, Post released two more massive hit singles, “Rockstar” and “I Fall Apart.” The songs later earned Post his second and third diamond certifications after achieving phenomenal streams and digital song sales. The singles are spawned from Post’s sophomore effort, Beerbongs & Bentleys. The following year, that same album would drop two more diamond-earning singles, “Psycho” and “Better Now.” The sophomore album’s success led to over five million copies sold in the U.S. and a 2019 Grammy nomination for Album of the Year.

One year after dropping Beerbongs & Bentley, Post dropped another record, Hollywood’s Bleeding. The album notably featured five multi-platinum-selling singles and a diamond-selling single, “Circles.” The album also featured a variety of music artists, such as Ozzy Osbourne, Travis Scott, Da Baby, Young, and more.

Last year, Post dropped his latest album, Twelve Carat Toothache, which featured incredible hits, “One Right Now,” “Cooped Up,” and “I Like You (A Happier Song).“ His 2022 run featured special guest Roddy Rich, who was featured in the album’s second single, “Cooped Up.” This 2023, Post will drop his upcoming album, Austin, on July 28.
